Qualytube

Qualytube is an indEpendent company specialized in non-destructive testing of pipes and fittings for the petrochemical and power generation markets.

We perform full automatic UT testing on pipes trough our TUV-Sud Bytest testing machine, on pipes having outside diameter starting from 1/2 to 24 NPS included, second party inspections, PT, MT, PMI and portable Hardness measurements on finished products. Our services are availbale both in our laboratory and at customer premises.

We provide automatic ultrasonic test on pipes starting from 1/2 to 24 NPS included. Our machine is equipped with a 10-channel GE Usip 40 equipment, providing the detection of transversal, longitudinal and double laminations in five directions in just one scan.

The equipment is completed by the GE software Ultraproof, providing the registration of scanning results.

We provide complementary NDE as dye penentrant and magnetic particle test to complete our range of services. 

All our operators are qualified according ISO 9712 level 2 or 3.

In order to guarantee the perfect surface conditions to test the pipes with the UT machine, we have a shot-blasting machine capable to clean the surface of pipes starting from 1/2 to 32 NPS. The surface standard after shot-blasting is in accordance to  Nace No. 2/SSPC-SP10 or SWEDISH Sa.2.5

Qualytube is certified ISO 9001 by DNV-GL, with the scope of inspections and testing on industrial products.
